The Instituto Nacional de Saúde (INS) is the National Public Health Institute of Mozambique, with the main mandate to generate evidence to inform policy making processes in the health sector in the country. This mandate is fulfilled trough Research, Laboratory Reference Services, Surveys and Surveillance, Training and Education, Communication in Health. INS became a full autonomous institution in 2017, turning into the national authority for activities related to generation of evidence in health in Mozambique.
